About William Francis Keenan
He was a very likeable guy. William graduated from Robert E. Fitch Senior High School, Groton, CT part of the class of 1956, the first graduating class. He was a Veteran of the US Navy serving in the Vietnam War. He retired from the US Navy in 1983 after 26 years of service. He also had a 20 year career in high tech fields in Virginia. He enjoyed woodcarving, reading and attending Navy reunions. He was an avid Redskins and Capitals fan. He was a member of VFW Post #1411, Cumberland, MD, American Legion Post #24, Frostburg, MD and the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 172, Cumberland, MD.
