CHILDREN OF JASON 48 AND CAROLINE (YATES) LEWIS.

127. i. Oliver, was born at Gainesville, N. Y., December 25, 1822. He married, August 1, 1848, Louisa Preston, who was born October 18, 1828. They reside at Great Valley, Cattaraugus county, N. Y.

128. ii. Lucinda, was born at Gainesville, N. Y., April —, 1824. She married in November, 1846, Grant Sherman. Her last known place of residence was Spencer's Mills, Kent county, Michigan.

129. iii. Charles, was born at Gainesville, N. Y., April 10, 1826. He married, September 9, 1846, Mary J. Helms, and resides at Marshall, Allegany county, N. Y.

130. iv. Mary, was born at Gainesville, N. Y., 1830. She has been twice married: First, in September, 1851, to Lewis Merwin. The name of her second husband, as well as her place of residence, I have been unable to learn.

131. v. William, was born at Warsaw, N. Y., December 30, 1839, and married, in 1866, Anna Sharon. He was drowned at Mount Morris, N. Y., November 22, 1867.
