William Loveless and Caroline Carlton actually had ten childrenand Cooper was not Caroline's. Cooper was probably William's son by a previous marriage, but this is only inferred. Also, nobody knows the name of James Loveless parents, but it was probably Joseph and Sarah Lovelace of Prince George County, Maryland. Also, Hazel is not a female name in the Lovelace/Loveless family at this time. The brothers you have for James are probably correct except I am not sure about Samuel. William Loveless and Caroline Carlton's children are as follows: 1. Linne Elizabeth Loveless 30 Dec 1830 2. James Lewis Loveless 26 Nov 1833 3. Mary Ann Loveless 21 Apr 1836 4. William Riley Loveless 29 May 1838 5. Hazel Richard Loveless 8 Oct 1840 6. Robert Bothes Loveless 14 Dec 1843 7. Levi ThomasLoveless 26 May 1846 8. Larrah Louiser Loveless 29 Sep 1849 9.Marthie Verdely Loveless 27 Oct 1873 10. Henry Collins Loveless 4Aug 1860 I have copies of Caroline's papers where she petitioned for a Widow's pension for William's War of 1812 service. She listed all of the children from the family Bible.
