William Luster
William Luster was born about 1745, in Virginia. He married Mary Unknown, in Bedford County, Virginia, about 1770. He was a member of the Virginia 2cd Light Dragoons, the same regiment in which Light Horse Harry Lee served during the Revolution. He moved to Greene County Tennessee, between 1787, and 1791. Note: There is a record of the Bedford County Court during the Revolutionary War which allocates money to 'Mary Luster, wife of William Luster, now serving with the Continental Troops, for their support.'
