About William Henry Marshall
Born St Ewe, Cornwall 1835. Died 23 Feb 1909 in New Plymouth, New Zealand. William lost his wife Mary Ann nee Langman at the age of 21 years from scarlet fever or TB in 1866. Their 2 year old son William was raised by Willam Snr's mother Mary Ann (nee Williams) until the age of 15 yrs when he returned to helping his father farm at Ingelwood. William Snr never remarried.
