5 February 1423: John Maxwell of Calderwood gave the lands of Kilcadroblaw in the barony of Maldisle to his uncle William Maxwell of Aikenhead. For greater security William Maxwell of Aikenhead obtained a charter of confirmation under the Great Seal of Scotland on 26 July 1424. Register of the Great Seal of Scotland, A.
