ACCUSED OF MURDER: Sunday, 28 Dec 1924 - Coshocton Tribune, pg 1 AGED WARSAW WOMAN IS ACCUSED OF MURDER The above photograph of Mrs. Clara McCurdy, 63, held on a charge of first degree murder in the county jail, suspected of poisoning her husband, William Allison McCurdy, 65, who died at his home south of Warsaw May 7. The picture was taken following her arrest. McCurdyÙus body was disinterred Thanksgiving day and his vital organs were sent to Columbus to be examined by Dr. H. M. Brundage and Chemist C. F. Long, who figured so prominently in the Shectaley furnace mystery. Following their report, she was indicted by the grand jury.
William's wife was later acquited of his murder. It was later determined he had been he had been giving himself arsenic over a period of time.
