About William Pusey
He was a Quaker .
Attended London Grove Quaker Meeting House near Toughkennom. PA (near Kennett Square, PA) Cemetery is adjoined to the Meeting House. Several Puseys are buried in this cemetery. There is a large oak tree still standing at the Meeting House that was there in William's life time.
" Two brothers , nephews of Caleb Pusey ( Caleb Pusey house in Upland Pa, miller for William Penn),followed Caleb to America in about 1700. One of these was William Pusey, married Elizabeth Bowater and settled in London Grove, Chester County, Pa, where he erected a mill and a substantial stone dwelling house which is still standing."
