William Thomas Richards

William was born the son of Richard Richards and Sarah Hooker in old Baltimore County, present Carroll County, Maryland, rural Hampstead.

William married Elizabeth Algire, daughter of John Algire and Ruth Brown, at that place in 1787.

William died early in life, and left his widow and three children. His father, Richard Richards [1725-1811], watched over his children in his stead.
