DEATHS
SCHRADER—William E. "Bill" Schrader, 72, rural Hiawatha, died unexpectedly Friday afternoon, September 27, 1985, at a Salt Lake City, Utah hospital following surgery complications. He became ill while on a western bus tour and was hospitalized two weeks ago for abdominal surgery.
He was born February 13, 1913 in Butler, Mo., the son of William and Anna Evans Schrader. He came with his parents as a young man to a farm northeast of Hiawatha where he has resided since.
He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Hiawatha and had served as a Township Trustee of Padonia Township for many years.
He was married to Grace Bruning, September 22, 1946 at Hiawatha. She survives at the home.
He is also survived by his sister, Crystal Schrader of Kansas City, Mo.
Funeral services are planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Boaz officiating. Interment will be at the Mount Hope Cemetery, Hiawatha.
