Was awarded ??????? Medal for running the Nuanetsi Research Station right in the middle of the war.
In 1979 Willie and Elaine immigrated to Kempton Park, South Africa and he worked for the Volkus Bank.
He retired to a plot in Bapsfontein, South Africa.
