William Latten Soule, Sr.

William Latten Soule was born 8 Sep 1909 in Chicago to Fayette Fletcher Soule and Mary Isabel Atkinson. His parents moved to Pensacola in 1921 where his father Fayette was vice president and one-third owner of Pensacola Shipbuilding and president of American Bascule Bridge Co. Bill completed high school in Pensacola and attended Virginia Military Institute and University of Alabama. He and his brother; Charles Arthur, were partners in Soule Brothers Construction which then became Noonan-Soule before Bill founded Soule Construction as a sole proprietor specializing in building bridges. He died in Pensacola 30 July 1985 and he, and Mary, who died 22 Nov 2004 are buried in Holy Cross Cemetery
