Deseret News April 26, 1995: William Clive Sprouse, 89, of Salt Lake City, Utah, formerly a long-time resident of the Uintah Basin and Ely Nevada, died April 24, 1995, at the Hillhaven Rest Home in Salt Lake City, Utah, of natural causes.
He was born September 28, 1905, in Vernal, Uintah County, Utah, a son of William Sprouse and Myrtle Mae Johnson. Married Myrtle May Richens, November 16, 1929, later divorced, married Karen Schoenberger, December 24, 1974, also divorced. Clive was a rancher and businessman. He was a great father and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.Survived by five sons and three daughters and spouses, Gary and Eileen Sprouse, Leon and Luvee Sprouse, both of Neola; Casey and Rhonda Sprouse, Boise, Id.; Kerry and Teresa Sprouse, Kody Sprouse, both of Ely, Nev.; LaVar and LaMarr C. Moffitt, Salt Lake City; Judy May and Anthony Scozzafava, St. George; and Kelly K. and Jeffrey A. Kelly, San Diego, Calif.; 26 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
