William Thomas St. Qintin

William Thomas St. Quintin was born on 26 May 1769 and was the son of Vice-Admiral George Darby and Mary St. Quintin.

He married Arabella Bridget Calcraft, daughter of General Thomas Calcraft, on 31 October 1795.

He was born with the name of William Thomas Darby but on 31 October 1795 his name was legally changed to William Thomas St. Quintin by Royal Licence.

He lived at Sunbury, London, England until he inherited from his uncle Sir William St Quintin, 3rd Baronet Scampston Hall, Malton, Yorkshire, England.

William Thomas St. Quintin and Arabella Bridget Calcraft had two children together:

• Colonel Matthew Chitty Downes St. Quintin was born in Dec 1800

He died on 18 January 1805 at age 35.
