About William Tidd, Sr.
Biography:
William Settled at the Brodheads with his older Brother John Tidd with his Wife Sarah. During the Broadhead Massacre his house was burnt to the ground. After that William left the Brodheads in Northampton County Pennsylvania and removed to the Jersey side of the Delaware River. Settling near his great uncle Jacob. That would be in the Minisink Valley, Hunterdon County, New Jersey and he remained there with his family till he died.
William Had a Son William who was born at the Brodheads in c. 1740 and died in Ohio.
