William Wesley Willis

(son of William Wesley Willis and Margaret Jane Willis). Born May 14, 1846, Nashville, Iowa. Came to Utah September 28, 1847, John Nebeker company.

   Married:	Gabrilla Stratton March 22, 1870, Virgin City, Washington County, Utah (daughter of Anthony J. Stratton and Martha Jane Lane of Virgin City, pioneers 1849). She was born October 16, 1850.

   Their children:

           Delilah Jane born January 28, 1871, married Alma R. Turley;

           Frances Ann born June 12, 1872;

           William Wesley born April 16, 1873;

           Anthony Lorum born June 29, 1874;

           George Ramey born December 14, 1875;

           Sixtus Ellis born July 14, 1877;

           Mary Josephine born February 10, 187S, married Stephen H. Duncan;

           Martha Augusta born April 20, 1881, married William E. Stratton;

           Ida born April 4, 1883, married Despain;

           Joseph S. born March 2, 1885, married Willmirth Flake;

           Altha Gabrilla born April 28, 1887, married Asburn H. Douglas;

           John Irvin born May 1, 1889;

           Lucretia D. born November 8, 1891;

           Leo Adison born July 8, 1894.

   Family home Snowflake, Arizona. Missionary to North Carolina 1885-86; member Snowflake stake high council. Justice of peace; selectman in Virgin City, Utah; justice of peace at Snowflake. Farmer and brickmaker.
