About Willis Alma Potter
Our loving husband, father and grandfather, peacefully passed away August 5, 1998, with his family surrounding him in his home.
Born August 13, 1912 in Payson, Utah, son of Alma L. and Genevieve Rust Potter. Married Betty L. Worthen, March 27, 1942 in the Salt Lake Temple. Veteran of World War II. Active member of the LDS Church where he served as an ordained patriarch, a temple worker at the Salt Lake and Jordan River Temples, in a bishopric and on the high council. He was a custodian for the Kearns Library and LDS Church.
Survived by children, Rodney (Sarah) Potter, Salt Lake City; Genevieve (John Peter) Groesbeck, Taylorsville; Dr. Sterling (Mariella) Potter, Price; Valerie (Joseph Paul) Buckman, Salt Lake City; Evelyn (Gerry) Cann, West Jordan; Pamela (Roy Lynn) Brimhall, Mesa, Arizona; Marilyn (Rick) Hamblin, Ruthann (Jerry) Carter, both of West Jordan; Randall (Melanie) Potter, Debra (Brian) Fredrickson, both of West Valley City; Deanna (Jack) Duffy, Kearns; 75 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Elton Potter, Utahn; Arlin Potter, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by sons, Steven and Vernon.

Funeral service will be held Monday, 11 a.m. at the Kearns 16th Ward, 5025 West 4865 South. Friends may call Sunday, 5-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Monday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
