Wilma N. Drummond, age 89, of Huntington, passed away at 11:00 p.m. Sunday (July 20, 2014) at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Wednesday (July 23, 2014) at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday (July 23, 2014) at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Mike Hensinger officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Huntington.
Preferred memorials are to Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne, in care of Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington.
Wilma was born on December 16, 1924 in Huntington, the daughter of Howard and Lillian (Archambeault) Chapin.
Wilma retired from Square D as a team leader, and she also worked for Memcor. Wilma treasured spending time with her family, especially playing cards, shopping, and dining out. She had a gentle spirit and a heart of gold.
Survivors include three sons - Gary (Annie) Richard of Estero, Florida, and Jack (Phyllis) Drummond and John Drummond, both of Huntington; one daughter - Pam (Larry) Boyd of Huntington; one sister - Phyllis Nave of Huntington; seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
Wilma is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers - Donald Chapin and Merle Chapin, and four sisters - Rosalie Moore, Vivian Edington, Evelyn Meekin, and Eileen Ehler, one grandson - Jack Drummond Jr., and one great grandson - Jakob Boyd.
