Yahya Tabatabai-Diba Nazem al-Dowleh

(29 Jamadi al-Aval 1303 /1885 in Tabriz - 1359/1940 in Tehran).

Yahya was the fifth child of Seyyed Assadollah Tabatabai Diba, who later assumed his father's title as Nazim al-Dowleh. (his bio could go here). He married Mah-Tajj Monavar al-Saltaneh Khanum, a parallel cousin, the daughter of Seyyed Mahmoud Tabatabai Diba Ala al-Molk, a younger brother of his father. She had eight kids with Yahya Nazem al-Dowleh. It should be noted that Mah-Tadj Monavar al-Saltaneh Khanum had first married Seyyed Mehdi Sho'a al-Dowleh, and had two sons, Sohrab and Bahram, from him, whom she brought with her to Yahya Nazim al-Dowleh's household where they grow up before going to France for education.
