About Zenaida Silva
Zenaida Silva (née Castillo) (1932-2012) was a veteran Filipino journalist. She covered events such as the assassination of Senator Ninoy Aquino in 1983 and the People Power Revolution in 1986. She and her husband, fellow journalist Manuel Silva, set up the Philippine bureau of Visnews for more than two decades until its acquisition by Reuters in 1992.
