About Zenona Kierpaul
Zenona Kierpaul, 88, a resident of Center Line for more than 48 years, died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004, at St. John Macomb Hospital, Warren. She was born Dec. 31, 1915, in Detroit.
Mrs. Kierpaul, a homemaker, was a longtime member of St. Clement Catholic Church in Center Line and the Polish Women's Alliance 364 where she has been the financial secretary for many years.
She was also a member of the Daughters of Isabella Mary our Mother Circle 698. Family members said she remained active until her death, always helping others and caring.
She is survived by her children, Roberta (John) Angeliu of Trenton, Philip of Clinton Township, Deborah (Roman) Kwarcinski of Sterling Heights and Karen (Daniel Pfaff) Kierpaul of Warren; brother, Casimer Michalowicz of Higgins Lake; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert; and sister, Barbara Andrzejczyk.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:45 a.m. Thursday at St. Clement Catholic Church, 25320 Van Dyke, Center Line. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today and noon-9 p.m. Wednesday with a 6:30 p.m. rosary recital,at Rudy Funeral Home, 25650 Van Dyke, Center Line. Additional visitation is 9:15-9:45 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
