Zora F. Cowart

Zorah F. Davis-Cowart was d/o Elizabeth Hannah 'Lizzie' Craig & Sidney Leonidas Davis. According to Bible Records, she was born 5 Jan 1860 in Georgia not the 1866 on the replacement stone.

Married: 25 Nov 1894 Murray Co, GA (2 children were born of this union betw 1901-1910. Both did not survive. 1910c 2 born, 0 living)

After her father's passing in 1904 she moved with her husband, Hiram Dee Cowart, Sr. to Texas to live with step-son Thomas and family. She appears on the 22 Apr 1910c in Johnson County TX with Thomas and family & after Hiram's death on 14 Jan 1920c living with step-son Stephen Alonzo and family in Ellis County, TX thus the death date of 1915 on her replacement stone is also incorrect.
