hi all found this piece of info on mary gilmore in the down county museum i,ll write it as i found it . mary gilmore born c1822 date & place of trial 15 july 1839 - down 7yrs native county down occ kitchen maid age 18 religion protestant crime vagrancy ship -margaret 3 departure date- dublin 30 april 1840 arrival date 17 aug 1840 married in colony - james heiron children - margaret - james - thomas - mary ann - bridget - willia date of marriage 6 april 1842 campbelltown ticket of leave 46/1490 district bathurst , picton date of death 17 sep 1863 as mary herring . i,m not saying this is right but thought it would be worth posting for your thoughts on it . regards trevor
