From http://familytree.chasegray.co.uk/3251.htm

George Hunt was educated at the Merchant Taylor's School and Magdalene College Oxford, where he was a Fellow between 1575 and 1583. He was appointed Rector of Collingborne Ducis in Wiltshire in 1581, and held that post for the next 51 years.
He is known to have had three children. His son John predeceased him, and his daughter Martha (qv) married William Whately (qv) at Banbury. His other daughter Bridget [SIC: Elizabeth] married Rev Henry Scudder, who held Presbyterian views, was appointed Rector of Collingbourne Ducis after the death of his father-in-law in 1632, and was a member of the Assembly of Divines. Henry was buried at Collingbourne Ducis, but his tomb was removed after the Restoration

CAUTION: Some data previously attributed to this person was non sourced and did not fit the historical records for him. A short biography about Rev. George Hunt by Magdalen College at Oxford suggested a birth date about April 1553 and his will that cited him from Collingbourne Ducis, Wiltshire, England was proved 1 November 1632. George was a fellow of Magdalen College from 1575-1582 when he was appointed to the pulpit of the parish of Collingboune Ducis, Wiltshire, Egland. He was the reverend at the parish church of Collingbourne Ducis for 51 years. At his death, his son-in-law Rev. Henry Scudder was appointed to the same position. Magdalen College's data included that Rev. George Hunt was the son of John Hunt but gave no mother's name nor did it assign George a wife's name nor a mother's name. Please do not depend on non sourced data for these relationships. It would seem prudent to continue serious research efforts to find the correct name for George's wife and for his mother, but this information may not be available. Non sourced trees would not be reliable sources and often have just plucked someone with a similar name with no credible proof of relationship
