In 1825 and later, Hardy served as a grand juror in Hempstead County, AR. He was enumerated in the 1830 Hempstead County, AR, census.

Hardy owned land on Tobacco Creek, Noxubee County, MS. The Dancing Rabbit Treaty-1830 indicated he had already sold this land.

Hardy was enumerated in 1831 in the Arkansas Territory.
