Different but likely to be same type of issue.

Thank you for reporting this. We have fixed the problem and will remove those keys shortly.

Private User There seems to still be a problem in this area. Its a bit "slippery" as its the translated keys that show up in other languages.

Even though all URL's are basicly URI's, in this case the "redirect_uri" word/phrase is for instance used as one of the parameter names in the OAuth authorization process. In that sense, I have not translated those in the developer documentation, instead treating them as unique identifiers together with other parameter names, such as:

access_token
client_id
response_type
scope
display
state

In the end of course, they are all URL's, or at least components in the construction of URL's.

Check "Authorization Request" under "Authentication with Geni", etc:

I released a fix for the one that read, "The email address <address> is in use by another profile..." The other one "<blank> is invalid." is harder to find but there's a chance this fix will get that, too.

2/22/2012 at 11:33 AM

It seems that the problem is still there. This one just in; http://www.geni.com/tr8n/phrases/view?translation_key_id=233905

2/22/2012 at 11:57 AM

Oddbjørn I know it's not shown, but that one was created on 29 Jan. I made a list of all of them, to be deleted... hopefully that'll get done soon, so it's easier to identify whether we're getting new ones.

2/23/2012 at 4:03 AM

Mike Stangel it gives 3 pages of these now:
http://www.geni.com/tr8n/phrases?section_key=&amp;search=Error+addi...

BUT another bug - it can't count them any more normally:
"Displaying phrases 1 - 30 of 79 in total"
Why these numbers 1 - 30 and 79 in my results page are hidden or in white colour? They will appear only via Copy/Paste.
I see them "Displaying phrases of in total"

2/26/2012 at 3:58 PM

Old, new? Who knows.., but they keep coming.

Does this signify a turning point on the seemingly endless stream of junk phrases....?

I am tired of n-th cousins x-tims eomoved. Whar does it means? Were we to take the Bible lierally (which hardly anybody does), w are all related, descended from Adam and Ev0e. The Japanese Emperor and a Maori chieftain? A Zulu king and a Jew from a Polish/Ukrainian Jewish township? Were I to explore the past carefullyI wouls probably finDisantrelativesamontheSephardimin the MiddleEast. Butwhat do have we incommon? venour Judaismis slighly different. Ithink haat I have moenincommonwith a Czech villahger tha with a native (Jewish) of BAgdad ir even Tbiisi. Dagmar( My Danish given name is due to Czehc traditions - the udagher of the Boheian king Přemysl Otakar married the Danish king Waldemar the Great and as a popular queen was given the name Dagmar - Lady or Mistress of the Day.

I apologize for all the typing mistakes and the unfinished text. Sorry, somebody interrupted me and I did not continue.Probably no losss for anybody. I only wanted to say that even though posssibly distant relaions,we do not, necessarily ,have anything in common.. Even our Judiasm is not always the same. The Chasidim and the reofrmed Jews from Chicago?

Private User Why you are posting these here in Geni Translators Project Discussion? These questions are not related at all to "Geni Translation Issues"

Tr8n is crazy again! Auto-generate has made already 43 separate phrases:
http://www.geni.com/tr8n/phrases?section_key=&amp;source=&amp;searc...
Soon there will be thousands of such!

instead of one:
Would you like to change the year to {year}?

+ this crazy saga still continues (NB! in all Geni languages):
http://www.geni.com/tr8n/phrases?section_key=&amp;source=&amp;searc...

+ this also:

@Lauri Kreen : My comment was a general one - not a contribution to the problem of traslatiions.: I apologize for not making myself quite clear. Asatranslator - mainly fiction and art history - I encounter more serious issues than relationships, which nobody understands anyway. What does it mean- My paternal grandfather's uncle's third cousin four times removed? Don't forgezt that to Jws patrilineal and matrilineal relations are most important

Thanks for bringing that to our attention Lauri Kreen.

Again kind of bug?:
http://www.geni.com/tr8n/phrases/view?translation_key_id=240613

Shall we translate from (0) .... (thousands) instead of ({count})?
