No, there is no documentation for that, and ancestry.com does not count.
It pops up everywhere without any details (say name of church, town, parents etc.) So how can anybody take this to be a fact? In 1632 hes marriage banns say he was 24 years old, surely he would know his own age, such being bonr in 1608?
Also in 1632 he is recorded "Albert Andriess van Frederickstadt" which could be anywhere includinng Sweden, Norway, Holland, Germany He is referred to as "de Norman" after 1637, people also said that about men from Sweden.
So, let's stick to the facts
No documented birthdate, recorded as 24 jears old in 1632
Could be from Norway, not fully documented
AND by the way his wife is "Annetie Baerents van Oudenbrath..." in 1632 which could be Altbruch in the land Hadeln in Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony) in Germany BUT.........it COULD be also anywhere (say Norway?)

Annetie is Never recorded as "van Rottmer/Rotmers/Rolsmer..." these anmes appear Only in interpretive notes NOT original recordings.
