Removing incorrect Curator Note on this profile: reading "a1 Jacobus van den Berg (oorspr. Van Bergen) v. Breskens in Zeeland. x 8.10.1700 Jacomina Carteniers, v. Oudenaarde in Vlaandere."

Not sure whose it was, as the Curatorship changed to me when I added her mtDNA haplogroup.

Piet Retief Venter points out that his own maternal line had originally been worked out as going back to Jacomina Carteniers, as my maternal PROG, but this was corrected to show that Engeltje vd Bout was his real maternal PROG.- after DNA tests.
