I’m bothered by the top of the Rainey tree, as it stands.

The names are, though not impossible, highly unusual for the time and place.

And they don’t fit with the story (attached in documents) about this being a family persecuted by the Pope.

And even if the names made sense, the story about the family being condemned to death by the Pope is nonsensical.

I can’t find any real evidence as to their existence.

My guess here is that they did not in fact exist and we need to cut the top if the tree off.

Does anyone have any actual documentation?

You didn’t create the profiles for this family, but you’re the manager now. Have you got any solid information on them?

Nothing?

I found the book that this story comes from; the whole story as it appears is even less believable, since it has the children moving to places like Florida and Texas in the late 17th century:

https://books.google.com/books?id=ikvt8ZMyDaQC&pg=PA39&lpg=...

It's a self-published book, by a member of the family; this entry is not cited.

Not reliable.
