My name is Cynthia and close family know me as Cindy but I prefer Cynthia and my mother said I corrected HER when she called me Cindy! lol
My father always called me Ninny because my little sister called me that.
He was and will always be my hero.
He is the reason I can truly believe in and accept a Supreme being we call FATHER.

My Native American and my African roots are five generations back and further but they are in my heart <3 and they are why I search daily.

Honeycutt is my biggest DNA matching surname by far and I share "525 DNA matches" at Ancestry that suggest we share Moses John "Pioneer" Honeycutt 'Pioneer' Moses Honeycutt. I have disconnected from him for now due to difficulty further down the tree and he currently shows as my 6th great uncle...
I MISS him! But a factual tree is so very important <3
I have at least TWO Honeycutt lines. They are in progress and Moses may be grandpa afterall lol

My father was career ARMY & my HERO. He loved my mother. All her siblings either served in the military, were married to military, or went to college (in a day when MOST people did not finish grade school, much less High School) and my father personally assisted with their University tuition. Together, they were something. I did THIS for them... and now that they are gone, I do this for ME.
I don't "HATE" my Plantagenet roots and I am a PROUD descendant of Native Americans, African Americans, Jamestowne AND the "20 and Odd" as well as immigrants arriving in the 1800’s. My ancestors were from all walks of life and of many religions. I am descended from Ashkenazi as well as Sephardic Jews (Solomon Israel, paternal) and I have French Huguenot ancestors on both sides (paternal: Jean Briquet, “the ancestor”; maternal: Jacob Michaux). I have grandparents who were NA (too many to tag) and grands who were killed by NA (John Roberts and his wife "Sarah"), grands who were slaves (still looking to connect the dots) as well as grands who were slave holders. My 3rd great grandfather John Dick Swaim fought and died wearing the grey uniform of the Confederacy in the Battle of Shiloh https://www.geni.com/projects/Battle-of-Shiloh/4169 while my 2nd great grandfather William J. I have been filling out my FAMILY TREE since I was 14 or 15 years old. I know all 16 of my second great grandparents and they are DNA proved: Hicks/Roberts, Crossen/Dilbeck, Webber/Boykin, Honeycutt/Cabe and Emerson/Foster, Swaim/Utterback, Pratt/Huddleston, Crawshaw/Brown. I do NOT know all 32 of my third great grandparents and I have quite a few brick walls. I need your help, please and thank you <3
Remember that only about half of all 4th cousins will share DNA but they are STILL related. Encourage different family members to test and compare because since we are not clones, we will ALL have different results and matches.
