Hi! I wonder if there's a known origin of the surname Rame...
In my case, one of my great-grandfathers was called Jalid Hessen Rame (see Jalid Hessen Rame).
He was from Syria, born in 1899.
He emigrated to Argentina, first to Rosario city, and then he moved to Tucuman province.
One of my great aunts says the surname should have been Rami or Ramy instead of Rame, and that it was mispelled in migrations.
But my grandma says that his father has always told them that the surname was right as it was, Rame.
