My grandmother, Fannie Lillian Nicholas Arbogast was born April 19, 1889 in Blue Grass, Highland County, Virginia,
Her parents were Phoebe Jane Stone Nicholas Hinkle (1864-1934) and George A. Nicholas (1857-1893).
Fannie married Pearl Washington Arbogast at the Colaw House, Blue Grass, Highland County Virginia in 1906.
Fannie and Pearl had eight children: Merle William (Evelyn Growall), Leota Myrtle Arbogast Burkhammer, Maud Elizabeth Arbogast Burke, Priscilla Ruth Arbogast Renshaw, Vera Lucille Arbogast Burge Lough Huff,, Wilma Virginia Arbogast Lopuch, Jessie Warden Arbogast (Virgie Mae Horner Arbogast) and Anna Lee Arbogast Floyd.
Fannie died June 1946 in Morgantown, WV and is buried in East Oak Grove Cemetery, Morgantown, WV
