There seems to be no source confirming that Jacques Gabriel Duhamel, son of Jacques Duhamel and Angélique de Loynes, married Marie Anne Tranchard and was parent of Thomas Duhamel. We may have a conflated profile here.

Fred White - I’m no expert in FC genealogy but it looks to me like the PRDH accepts the parentage of Thomas as Jacques.

Jacques Duhamel dit Sansfaçon (Father of Thomas) was not the son of Jacques ll du Hamel & Barbe de Loynes

Their younger son was Jacques-Gabriel du Hamel who apparently had no wife or children.

We don’t know the parents of Jacques Duhamel.

This resolves the matter, I believe. Agreed?

I found it interesting how Jacques Duhamel dit Sansfaçon had been conflated with Jacques-Gabriel du Hamel
