I think this is Liebe daughter of Shimon Grosz
Lotti Liebe Marmorstein, Grosz
So this Liebe must be daughter of another Grosz. There was only one Simon Grosz in Luky as stated in the 1948 census.
I don’t know the name of Liebe (Grosz) Knöpfelmacher’s father. He wasn’t Simon Grosz, but almost certainly a brother of Simon’s. So that would make Liebe a first cousin to Liebe (Grosz) Marmorstein (1822-1877) and to her sister Franciska Grosz (1824-1885) who was married to Joseph Knöpfelmacher of Trencin (a first cousin to Leopold Knöpfelmacher).
I will see if I can find out anything more from Luky census records.
I think Liebe Knöpfelmacher was the daughter of Benjamin Grosz of Luky (1802-1860). He died in Luky on 15 Dec 1860, age 58, and his gravestone in Luky is still standing. Liebe named her next-born son, in January 1862, “Benjamin” (later known as Julius).
Benjamin Grosz, age 45, b. Szvandel, Moravia, was living in Luky in 1848 with wife Hany, an unmarried daughter Betty and a son Kalman, age 15.
Only a theory at the moment, but I will see if I can find more.
