I went back and researched information on richard Branham, Sr. of Yorkshire, England,
found he married Deborah Haslock in England, she was born in 1645 and died in 1691.
Also, he married Ann Hobbs on Dec. 14, 1714
Richards father was a Knight of the Realm, Thomas Branham/Brannon. I sent a copy of the information to the file, his father would have had a title, which would have made his son considered a "Sir", but he did not use it because he immigrated to Rappahannock County, VA.

There are records in Old Rappahannock County Deed Book, 1665-1677, pp 26-27

We need better documentation that Gabriel Bramham was a “Knight Of the Realm” so until then, it’s just an anecdote for the “about.”

The tree was mismerged. I’m working on cleaning it up.
