Margaret (Gunn?) Mackay - Margaret's birth

Margaret (who may have been born Margaret Gunn, had her last child in 1772 so had to have been born no earlier than 1725 at the outside and probably more like 1728-1730.

Her daughter Betty (as named on her baptism record) was baptised 30 may 1772 in Eilean Choraidh, Eribol (Source: SP: Parish # 048/ Ref 10 16). Unfortunately the only two baptisms/ births recorded on Scotland's People' only record the father's name. and no marriage record exists for them either. The marriage would probably have been no earlier than about 1748 although there are records for women as young as 15 being married off in this era. 1748 to 1772 is ample time frame for the seven documented children of Hector 'son of Donald son of Hector'
