Ann JONES (Mathews) - Conflict to be resolved

This profile currently has 2 fathers:

Capt John Matthews b1650 Virginia - Capt. John Mathews, of Blunt Point
John Matthews b1640 England - John Mathews

It's not obvious that they are the same person and should be merged, and I dont know which one is correct.

Given that Ann was supposedly born in 1655 it is possible that neither of them are correct as they would have been 5 and 15 at the time of her birth respectively.

Any further information to resolve this conflict would be welcomed.
