Erica Howton presumably the dates and data for the "other" son Thomas Thomas Roberts, of Glassenbury are incorrect & this is in fact the "real" son Thomas.

The died young Thomas was a fierce battle to get Gov Thomas Roberts (fishmongers son) off this line.

I just read the story of the Irish line here:

It’s high drama! Oh my goodness:

Early in the latter half of the 18th Century, a vessel was wrecked on "Long Rock" in Rocky Bay (Carrig-adda Bay on map), close to Britfieldstown, Co. Cork. Those of the crew who were saved were taken to Britfieldstown House, and in due time passed on to their several destinations.A carriage painter happened to be one of them and was retained for sometime in painting the family carriage and arms thereon. He subsequently returned to England and was, strangely enough, employed in Kent, his native county, to paint the Duchess of St. Alban's carriage. Thus it came to her ears that the man had been lately employed in painting the like coat of arms on the carriage of Randal Roberts of Britfieldstown, Co. Cork, and led to investigation on the part of the Duchess that she recognized him, (vide her will) as next of kin, and 7th baronet, under the patent of 1620, having Glassenbury by will entailed to his grandson or granddaughter. The proofs, of which there are many, are signed by Sir Rowland Roberts, present Baronet, Walworth Howland Roberts, Barrister, William R. Westropp Roberts, Fellow, T.C.D., Kilmoney Abbey.

Saved by the Duchess of St. Albans.

Well, can’t turn that down.

Do we have any evidence for this precise birth date?

October 11, 1590

And surely he was not born in County Cork, Ireland?
