There is a problem with who Richard's father is. Someone has posted Samuel Proctor and a Mary Ashfield are his parents. Can't be considering the date giving for Samuel's birth would have made him 12 yrs old at the time of Richard's birth. Plus other child listed were born after Samuel's death
Obviously the dates are wrong or not the father. Mary and first name only I did find in Boston Massachusetts records. No father listed. I think and it is only a guess George Proctor was Richard's father not his grand father. I contacted the managers. Could someone help? Thank you Judy McCarthy
