How about we start with this one. It is really messing up my Family tree. Humility Cooper, "Mayflower" Passenger
http://www.mayflowerhistory.com/Passengers/HumilityCooper.php
Also she was about one when she was on the mayflower which means she was born around 1619 and not 1609. And that whould mean she had her first child before she was 10.
Need to read more before you remove her?

Yes Humility is listed on a lot of sites as Marrying C. Webb and being born in 1588 while it shows her Father being born in 1581. Do you see a problem here? Mayflower Humility according to history died in England also.
Now if I'm wrong show me some strong evidence to the fact. Oh C. Webbs wife was named Humility but Humility Wheaton

It seems this has drawn no Attention. Guess we are not interested in recorded history?

Rodney,

You're catching me mid merge! My internet connection is flaky today so I didn't want to say I was "on the case" until I could prove it. I'm working on Humility Cooper and really appreciate the links you posted, made it much easier for me. But now I have to fix up the Webb family her profile got conflated with, as you correctly surmised.

It's not a history issue. It's a bad merge from a bad GEDCOM upload issue. Curators are here to help straighten out the tree -- easier said than done sometimes.

What's your family line? Have you thought about using our new Project tool to get it straightened out?

Can I be honest? I'm not crazy about that link.

For the Christopher Webb family I am liking this one:

http://www.webbdeiss.org/webb/christopherwebb.html

Of course geni now has me merging Buckminster / Buckmaster's, which would be annoying except there's an Alice Reede in the picture, and I have Reades, so maybe there's a (real) connection to be made.

On the other hand I've been working for months on my Mystery Jackson women so most likely not.

LOL @ DoD. :) Consider this my Veteran's Day weekend gift to you.

I expect you to fully proofread for dates /locations if you would be so kind, starting from Christopher Webb Sr, sometime Sunday afternoon. :)

OK back to merge-monkey duties.

Hi Rodney,

Thank you for calling attention to Humility Cooper, I think she's looking a bit more accurate.

I'm also hoping the Christopher Webb, of Braintree family is looking better for you now.

I did a little on the English side as well but not much -- will leave that to others.

You might enjoy this link (I did).

Thanks, I will have to share that link with my Mother I'm sure she will enjoy it.
I'm very impressed with what you Did to The Christopher Webb Profile. I find a lot of decendants are not aware that the Webb family ofEngland was pretty well documented.

Thanks Rodney!

You really might want to think about using the Project tool for "presenting" the Webb family.

Hi Rodney, just found this site and I have to agree with you about ending Cooper. I was in the UK and found the marriage papers for Humilitie Wheaton but never found her death. I still believe the 1687 date in the USA is for her.

I also love the link to the http://www.webbdeiss.org/webb/christopherwebb.html site; it is well written and documented and no guesswork.

I just dont understand people that say Christopher came over with 5 brothers and their father is Alexander Webb. Does anyone have any proof of Alexander in there? Show me a christening record for Christopher Webb and I might believe. The farthest back I can prove is Christopher in Crediton, Devon, UK and could not find anything that talks about where he was from.

Have done the DNA bit and still cant get beyond Crediton, UK. See http://www.webbdnaproject.org/ for some trails but not farther than Crediton.

Would love to chat about this and see how to proceed!!
