"MARRIAGE.

On the 5th April, at the residence of the bride's father, Ash Island, Hexham (the usual place of worship), by the Rev. T. L. Dodd, assisted by the Rev. William Allworth — Edward Forde, Esq., third son of the late Henry Forde, Esq., to Helena, younger daughter of Alexander Walker Scott, Esq., M.A., M.L.C. 2335 At St. Joseph's Chapel, by special license, on the 4th of April, by the Rev. Father Kenny, Mr. Thomas Monnax, of Mullbring Creek, to Emma, eldest daughter of Mr. George Sims, Linton Grove, Wollombi. 2355

DEATHS.

On the 29th March, at Maitland, Mr. David White, aged 43 — leaving a wife and six children and a large circle of friends to mourn their loss. 2325"
