Biography
Abigail Waldron's marriage record states that she was from Wenham, Essex, Massachusetts and based on the date of marriage should would have been born about 1690 which means that either John Waldron/Walden or Nathaniel Waldron/Walden would have been her father. She died young so she was no mentioned in probate records. As far as I know the identity of her parents is speculative.
Daniel Corning was born on Sep. 17, 1686 to Samuel Corning and Hannah Batchelder[1] He was baptized on Oct. 24, 1686 at the First Church in Beverly, Massachusetts.[2]
Daniel Corning married first to Abigail Waldron (1690 - 1714) on 29 Oct 1710 in Beverly, Essex, Massachusetts.[3] They had two children:
- Nathaniel Corning b 27 JUN 1712 • Beverly, Essex, Massachusetts - not mentioned in his fathers probate records.[4][5]
- Abigail Corning 10 OCT 1713 • Beverly, Essex, Massachusetts,[5] married 6 Oct 1731 Lisbon, New London, Connecticut, to Samuel Bishop (1709 - 1790)[6] Her husband represented her in her father's probate records.
She died on 10 Oct 1714 "____, w. Dan[iel], Oct. 10 1714. C.R.1."[7]
Daniel Corning married second to Susanna Burnham (1693 - 1752) on 12 Dec 1715 in Beverly, Essex, Massachusetts.[8] She was the daughter of Thomas Burnham and Hester Cogswell.
Daniel died Mar 28 1746.[4][9]
Estate: Son-in-Law Samuel Bishop on behalf of his wife Abigail and Daniel' Corning's 2nd wife Susanna (Burnham) Corning are administrators of his estate in Connecticut.[4]
