About Abijah Hull, Sr.
Assisted in establishing American Independence during the Revolutionary War in the capacity of patriot in furthering the cause of the war. Although he didn't fight in the revolution he carried an important message which gave him the honor and made it possible for his descendants to join the DAR some of whom are Sarah Hull Epp,Eliz. Jane Epp Taft & Geo Julius + Jennie L.Hull's daughters Helen L.,Celia A. & AmeliaS.(info came from Amelia & Jane). Revolutionary War records show members of Wallingford, Conn. took the Oath of Fidelity to the State of Conn. according to an act made & passed by the General Court of the State of Conn.@ Hartford on 2nd thurs. of May 1777 of which Abijah Hull, Sr. was one.
