Adrian Steinau Baer

The son of Leopold Baer and Caroline V. "Carrie" Steinau. Adrian's first wife was Selma Wise, she passed away in 1926. On June 12, 1928, Adrian received a marriage license to Doris Wertheimer of Cleveland, Ohio from Cuyahoga County Ohio. The 1930 census of Monroe, Ouachita parish would enumerate Adrian back home with his parents, sister, Hylda and her husband David Klotz.

ADRIEN S. BAER DIES IN TEXAS

Member of Prominent Monroe Family Succumbs Of Heart Attack

Adrien S. Baer, 48, son of the late Leopold Baer, died in Houston, Tex., Friday at 7 a.m. following a heart attack. The funeral will be held in Houston, Sunday at 2 p.m., with interment taking place there.

Mr. Baer was born in Monroe and lived the larger part of his life here, his family being connected with prominent families, among who is Mrs. Arnold Bernstein, his aunt, the widow of Mayor Arnold Berstein.

Mr. Baer had in recent years lived in Houston where he was identified with the wholesale liquor business.

Surviving are his wife, two children, his mother and a sister, the last named being Mrs. Sam Klotz, of Napoleonville, La.
