She found a great deal of compensation for this in her great love of painting, and spent many hours with her easel and paints, putting onto canvas many of the beuaty spots in the Wairarapa, and the flowers she loved so much. For many years she was very active in the Masterton Art Club.≤/p>≤/p>≤p> ≤/p>
