"Showed a good technique" in the song 'Oh, if thou wert my own love' (Freeman's Journal, 24 Nov. 1893). 1st prize for 2nd Grade Vocal Exercises, 1894 (Freeman's Journal, 8 Mar. 1894). 1st prize for 2nd Grade Declamation, 1895 (The Irish Times, 26 Feb. 1895).
