Agnes Elicia Sutherland

Agnes Sutherland (Mrs Suth) was married to William Ernest Regan.William went to war and was killed; died of wounds 10th April 1918. Documentation from the National Archives indicate Agnes was presented with the 3 Medals as well as being awarded the two pound per fortnight pension. Agnes married Mr William F Sutherland I believe in 1919.He passed on in 1960 at Coolah. Agnes and William had 1 child as indicated in the picture. BDM indicates that a JOHN SUTHERLAND(REGAN?) died in 1921.William F and Agnes had a child called Rex who passed on in 1932. Mrs Suth lived on the corner of Binnia and Gilmore in a weatherboard house (now where the plant nursery is), she ran a boarding house.I remember her being a happy women who liked a chat.When I worked night telephone exchange and the shift finished I would walk home, Russ Tyson would be on the ABC radio. Mrs Suth would be on the front verandah with the radio loud.Agnes had a Daughter called Noreen(Mrs Cooper) who passed on in 1977.I believe she also had a son called Harry.
