Alice, 82, of Hart, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014. She was born to James and Corinne (Comly) Makin.
After the death of her first husband David Dodds, Alice married Vern Carlson. Together they owned and operated their family farm for many years.
Alice was a member of the Hart United Methodist Church.
Alice is survived by her children, Linda (James) Merten, David (Connie) Dodds, Brenda (Kenneth) Malburg, Michael (Debbie) Carlson, Paul (Danielle Vittone) Carlson; one sister, Helen Johnson; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service for Mrs. Carlson was Friday, December 19, 2014, at the Hart United Methodist Church with Pastor Rebecca Wieringa officiating. Interment was held in the spring.
The family requests that any memorials be directed to the donor’s choice.
