Anna Christina Coetzer

She shared a lot of her family's history with me as a child and I was fortunate enough to visit the family farm in the Aberdeen are - Stoepies - which is now a guest farm. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed nothing better than walking in the veld and wading in the rivers. She taught my son (her great grandson) which plants one can eat in the wild to quench your thirst and all other manner of plants. I am her namesake, as were many who carried the same name in the family. A strong woman with loads of wisdom that she loved to share.
