Anna J. Miller

BELLVILLE -- Anna J. Hershberger, 81, of 6855 State Route 314, Bellville, Ohio 44813, died Saturday, May 18, 2013 at her residence in the forenoon following an extended illness. She was born November 16, 1931 to the late Joe C. D. and Emma (Wengerd) Miller. She was a member of Old Order Amish Church.

In August 1973 she married Jacob Y. Yoder and he preceded her in death on December 31, 1973. She married for the second time to John J. Hershberger in November 1986 and he preceded her in death on April 12, 2007.

Surviving stepchildren from first marriage are Roman (Sarann) Yoder, Eli (Mary) Yoder and Clara (Atlee) Barkman all of Big Prairie, Ohio and Lizzie (Abe) Miller of Ashland, Ohio. Also surviving stepchildren are Jonas (Anna Y.) Hershberger and Jacob of the home, Amanda (Dan) Yoder of Gallipolis, Ohio, Verba (Marty) Yoder of Oak Hill, Ohio and Paul (Mary) Hershberger of Fredricktown, Ohio plus many stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Cornelious, Ammon and Abraham all of Holmes County, Ohio; sisters, Sarah Raber of Howard, Ohio, Mattie (Aden) Yoder of Cashton, WI and Ada (Roman) Yoder of Fredericksburg, Ohio; and many, many friends. In addition to her parents and two husbands, she was preceded in death by stepsons, Roy J. Yoder and Ivan J. Yoder; several stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Crist, Andrew, John and Joe; and sisters, Mary, Amanda, Edna and Emma.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 9 a.m. at the Hershberger residence by Bishop Jonas Wengard. Burial will be in Hickory Hill Cemetery, Richland County, Ohio. Arrangements were handled by Wappner Funeral Directors, Mansfield, Ohio.
